Buyer's remorse plagues holiday shoppers during the Christmas season.

Shoppers waited in long lines to scoop up big discounts on toys, clothes and televisions, but that spending binge has led to a ‘Holiday Hangover’ of sorts.

Come January, the lines for returns will reach out the door as people decide to pitch out their unwanted presents.

However, in December, many holiday shoppers are returning to stores to send back that big ticket buy that broke the bank. Others return gifts to go to the store next door to get their present at cheaper price.

For every dollar that stores take in this holiday season, they'll have to give back 9.9 cents in returns.
