Chicago woman bit off boyfriend's tongue on Valentine's Day

CHICAGO, IL (WGN-CNN) — A woman was charged with felony aggravated domestic battery after police say she bit off her boyfriend's tongue.
Elaine Cook, 51, got into an argument with her boyfriend on Valentine's Day.
When he tried to kiss and make-up with her, she bit off a chunk of his tongue.
The boyfriend grabbed his tongue, put it in a bag of ice and called 911. Doctors were not able to re-attach it.
Cook is being held on $100,000 bail.
