Officials now know the cause of the massive fire that burned through Bastrop, TX a little over two weeks ago.

The Texas Forest Service says two trees, which fell on power lines in two separate locations over Labor Day weekend, sparked the blazes.

They merged into the inferno that scorched 34,000 acres and destroyed about 1,600 homes, and killed two people.

Damages are estimated at $150 million.
