More misdeeds are being revealed about the Thompson Memorial Chapel in Stockton, which is the subject of a District Attorney complaint involving elderly fraud.

Stella Williams says the funeral home inexplicably failed to deliver the body of her brother at his burial service on May 25. When it was delivered for a second graveside service five days later, it was in a box covered with blue felt instead of the bronze casket the family ordered.

"People have their animals and pets that they love buried better than this," said Williams as she pointed a picture of the coffin.

The family insisted that it be opened to make sure the body was there. Williams says members of their large extended family traveled far and wide to attend the services of her beloved brother Rickey Cook, only to wonder where the body was.

"A lot of our family never got closure," said Williams.

She came forward after seeing news reports about the complaint filed in two cases involving the sale of pre-paid funeral services that were never delivered. She didn't complain when her brother's body arrived in the box because she felt it wasn't the time to argue with Thompson.

Now she's urging that other possible victims come forward if they know of suspicious or fraudulent dealings with Thompson.

"I know there are other people out there that experienced the same things we did," said Williams who doesn't want others to go what her family went through.

The Stockton Police also want to hear from people who might have been defrauded by Thompson.

Thompson told FOX40 that there wouldn't be any immediate comment on the District Attorney's complaint. Williams' family has also contacted state officials who regulate funeral homes
