British Prime Minister visits Myanmar

NBC News — Another historic visit in Myanmar, British Prime Minister David Cameron met with the head of the country's government friday. Cameron held talks with President Thein Sein soon after arriving, later he me separately with opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi.
His visit is believed to be the first by a serving British head of government since Myanmar obtained its independence from Britain in 1948 when it was called Burma. The visit comes as the European Union and the U.S. are reviewing their sanctions against the country. Western nations have hinted they would ease sanctions in the wake of several democratic reforms.
