Frostproof, FL (BN9) — An important piece of a nativity scene is missing in Frostproof.
The City of Frostproof had its nativity scene set up in a field on the corner of B Street West and Scenic Hwy.
Sometime between Saturday, December 1st, and Monday, December 3rd, the baby Jesus and a 4-by-6 foot plywood donkey were taken.
They were last seen around 6 p.m. on Saturday December 1st.
There are no pictures of the items. The baby Jesus is a plastic doll and the donkey is painted realistically.
The city would like the stolen items returned to the Frostproof City Hall at 111 1st St W, Frostproof.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
