Amanda Knox back in court
NBC News — American college student Amanda Knox was back in an Italian courtroom tuesday for a second day in a row. During yesterday's hearing lawyers expressed serious doubts over forensic evidence used against Knox in the murder investigation of her roommate Meredith Kercher.
In July, prosecutors challenged forensic experts in court over new findings that attack crucial pieces of evidence used to convict Knox of Kercher's murder in 2007. Two experts commissioned by the appeals court challenged the work of the previous forensic expert. Twenty four year old Knox and her former Italian boyfriend and another friend were convicted and jailed in 2009 for the murder of Kercher.
