BATON ROUGE, La (NBC 33) — Manuel Valencia is a small business owner. With money tight, he says he turned to "Entrepeneur Headquarters" for some help, "It's certainly less expenisve and provides more benefits than the standard commercial space."
For between $250 and $750 per month businesspeople can rent everything from a space at a table to a private office with all of the amenities of a standard office. It's a setup that helps Manuel's business grow and thrive, "We can configure things one way today and tomorrow can reshape our office layout," ssys Valencia.
Jared Loftus is one of the co-owners of E.H.Q. and he says that's exactly the point of his business, "If we can make it easier for a small business to get started and then give them the potential to grow, we kind of eliminate some of the hurdles."
WIth other small businessowners sitting all around at all times of the day, Valencia says you can't help but work together no matter what business you're in, "The opportunity to collaborate, lot of folks here like us who have different experience sets, so we can easily tap into that just by shouting over a wall or asking somebody if they don't mind looking over my shoulder for something."
That does nothing but help the economy of the Capital City says Loftus, "The more people that are employed. The more people that are making money, making things happen, that only can translate positively for the city."
