Louisiana gains critical funding to find homes for veterans

BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Louisiana is getting half-a-million dollar to help find homes for homeless veterans.
The money will go to housing authorities in East Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Lafayette, and Bossier parishes.
Most of the money is coming to EBR parish.
It’s from a department of housing and urban development program for public housing agencies.
The announcement made by state Senator Mary Landrieu and Representative Cedric Richmond.
