THE FLOOD WARNING CONTINUES FOR THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER AT BATON ROUGE.
* UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
* AT 11:00 AM MONDAY THE STAGE WAS 44.4 FEET.
* MAJOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND MAJOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* THE FLOOD STAGE IS 35.0 FEET.
* FORECAST...THE RIVER IS EXPECTED TO REMAIN NEAR THE CURRENT
  STAGE OF 44.4 FEET TODAY AND THEN BEGIN TO SLOWLY FALL TO A STAGE
  NEAR 44.1 FEET BY SATURDAY MAY 28TH.
* IMPACT...AT 43.0 FEET...SHIPPING AND INDUSTRIAL ACTIVITIES ARE
  SIGNIFICANTLY AFFECTED. UNPROTECTED LOW-LYING AREAS WILL BE FLOODED
  AND AGRICULTURAL OPERATIONS WILL BE IMPACTED ON THE WEST SIDE OF
  THE RIVER. THE CITY OF BATON ROUGE IS PROTECTED BY LEVEES AT THIS
  LEVEL.

* UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
* AT 11:00 AM MONDAY THE STAGE WAS 62.4 FEET.
* RECORD FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND RECORD FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* THE FLOOD STAGE IS 48.0 FEET.
* FORECAST...THE RIVER IS EXPECTED TO SLOWLY FALL TO A STAGE NEAR
  62.1 FEET BY SATURDAY MAY 28TH.
* IMPACT...AT 62.0 FEET...ANGOLA LANDING WILL REMAIN UNDER WATER AND
  ALL FERRY SERVICE WILL BE TERMINATED. ALL RIVER ISLANDS ALONG THE
  REACH FROM RED RIVER LANDING TO BATON ROUGE WILL REMAIN INUNDATED
  WITH RECREATIONAL CAMPS AND RIVER BOTTOM FARM LAND UNDER WATER.
