Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — There is still no decision from the Mississippi River Commission on when to open the Morganza Spillway.

Governor Jindal flew over the spillway and other areas of the state before making the announcement. Jindal says the commission is running out of time, and water is already dangerously close to the top of that structure.

He is warning residents in the flood zone to get ready to get out.
