Delta Music Museum moves items for fear of flooding
Ferriday, La (NBC33) — It's moving day for some famous music memorabilia at the Delta Music Museum as water rises in Concordia Parish.
The artifacts must move to protect them from possible flooding in Ferriday.
The Secretary of State's office is loading this truck with items from famous musicians from the delta region, including a piano played by Jerry Lee Lewis, as well as other instruments, photos and letters.
The memorabilia will return once the flood threat is over; the museum will remain open to visitors despite fewer exhibits.
