Missing man found

This is an NBC33 News Update: Family members tell NBC33 News that Joey Zaffuto was picked up by authorities in Houston around 4:30 this afternoon, Wednesday, Dec. 8. His mother has not had a chance to talk with Joey yet, but she says the family is planning on driving to Houston tomorrow to pick him up.
This is an NBC33 News Update: The Gonzales Police Department has tracked Joey Zaffuto, 25, to a bus station in Houston, TX.
Officials used surveillance video from the ATM and city bus ticket to locate his last known whereabouts. Now the Houston Police Department is assisting with the investigation. They believe Zaffuto made the trip to Houston on Sunday.
Original story: GONZALES, La (NBC33) -- Gonzales Police are on the hunt for a mentally disabled man who went missing over the weekend.
It happened last Saturday at a local convenience store on Airline Highway. Family members of Joseph Zaffuto say he walked to the store to get some cigarettes around Noon. They say they got concerned after a few hours went by and they hadn't heard from the 25 year old.
Zaffuto suffers from a severe case of schizophrenia. His parents say while he's not a threat to anyone, he does need his medication.
"He's never given any indication that he'd want to hurt himself or others," says his father Joseph D. Zaffuto.
Zaffuto is 6'3". He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and black pants.
