MA: Passenger saves bus after driver suffers seizure
QUINCY, MA (NBC) — Passengers took control of a Quincy, Massachusetts bus and safely brought it to a stop when the driver suffered a medical emergency behind the wheel.
A 37-year-old MBTA driver suffered an apparent seizure.
One passenger jumped into action, grabbed the wheel and put his foot on the brake, all while he propped up the driver.
"Basically I just held him. I grabbed onto the back of the chair. Back of the -- one of the bars there, and just held him so he didn't fall out of the seat," said Richard Hiort.
