State senator to host citizens meetings

East Baton Rouge Parish, La (NBC33) — District 15 State Senator Sharon Weston Broome (D-Baton Rouge) will hold a series of community meetings in the Senate District 15 area during the months of February and March.
Sen. Broome will discuss important legislative issues affecting constituents in the district and review her legislative package for the upcoming Regular Session.
Representatives from the Department of Insurance, Senate Committee on Retirement, Public Service Commission, Accion and Bayou Health will also be joining the discussion.
Sen. Broome urges citizens in the area to take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about important state issues.
