Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — After a special session and federal approval, redistricting is a done deal in Louisiana.
The restructuring of the House's 105 seats has the green light from the U.S. Justice Department.
The approval comes even though black lawmakers say there aren't enough minority districts.
The redistricting plan had to be approved by the federal government to make sure the state doesn't discriminate against minorities.
