Municipal primary elections take place on Saturday, polls open at 7:00 a.m.

Baton Rouge, La — Secretary of State Tom Schedler reminds Louisiana voters that Municipal Primary Elections will be held in 38 parishes this Saturday, April 6, 2013. Polls open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m.
“There are a lot of very important local issues on the ballot for this election,” said Secretary of State Tom Schedler. “I encourage voters to get to the polls, cast their ballot and make their voice heard in their communities. It is vital that we all exercise our right to vote each and every time we can.”
The 38 parishes holding elections on Saturday include: Acadia, Allen, Ascension, Beauregard, Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Calcasieu, Catahoula, Desoto, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Evangeline, Grant, Iberia, Jefferson, Jefferson Davis, LaSalle, Livingston, Morehouse, Natchitoches, Orleans, Ouachita, Rapides, Sabine, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. Helena, St. James, St. John the Baptist, St. Landry, St. Tammany, Vermilion, Vernon, Washington, Webster, West Baton Rouge and Winn.
