East Baton Rouge Parish, La (NBC33) — A new report shows Mayor-President Kip Holden well in the lead when it comes to fundraising.
According to the Louisiana Ethics Administration, Holden raised more than $160,000 between the end of July and the end of September.
His main opponent, Mayor Pro-Tem Mike Walker, has raised about $72,000 in that same period.
The other candidates in the race, Gordon Mese and Steve Myers aren't as well funded. Mese says he's not taking public contributions, and Myers says he's running with $35,000 of his own money.
