BAKER, LA (NBC33) — A candidates’ forum for those seeking elected office in the City of Baker is scheduled to happen tonight, Thursday, March 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the Baker Municipal Auditorium.

The gathering is sponsored by the Baker-Zachary Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Baker Civic Pride, the Main Street Pilot Club, the Baker Rotary and Knights of Columbus Council 4085.

Candidates will be allowed to give a three minute introduction and will be asked three questions with two minutes to respond to each. The audience will be able to meet with the candidates after the program.

The primary election date is March 24, 2012.
