Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — While welcoming troops home for the holidays, Governor Bobby Jindal talked saturday about the recent budget cuts, and what's next for our state.
Friday, Governor Jindal and his team put together a comprehensive plan to deal with recent budget cuts.
Saturday, Jindal says he'll take that plan before the Louisiana Legislature starting in early February, he says it's one he's sure will benefit many people.
"Now that we've got the official numbers, we're meeting with every agency to make sure they understand we're gonna do more with less, we're gonna have a balanced budget that doesn't raise taxes, that continues to protect our critical priorities," said Governor Jindal.
