BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Governor Bobby Jindal got a visit from the French Ambassador today.

Francois Delattre visited Louisiana for the first time ever, and took a few minutes to talk politics with Louisiana's top politician.

The ambassador will also meet with New Orleans Mayor, Mitch Landreiu during his two day visit, and some of the people who have been very involved in preserving the French language in Louisiana.
