LOUISIANA (NBC33) — A roundup by the Department of Children and Family Services put more than 120 people in jail and brought more than a million dollars to parents raising their kids.
DCFS says they were able to collect $74,000 in child support payments and got $40,000 from other cases.
Child support enforcement worked with district attorneys, police departments, and sheriff's offices all across the state.
However, the agency says there's still over a billion dollars owed by non-custodial parents in Louisiana.
