Blighted Official sentenced to 10 years

BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Former White Castle Mayor Maurice Brown learns how much time he'll spend behind bars.
Brown will face ten years in federal prison. He was convicted on racketeering and bribery charges. That’s for his part in Operation Blighted Officials.
That's where FBI informants posed as corrupt businessmen selling a fake garbage-can cleaning service called Cifer 5000.
