Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — The East Baton Rouge Parish Planning and Zoning Commission has adopted a new development plan.
This new proposal overhauls the Horizon plan, which is the city-parish's 20 year comprehensive land use and development project.
This new blueprint for the future Baton Rouge focuses on urban design, new mass transit goals. Consultant John Fregonese presented the draft, saying the goal is to encourage young people to stay in the city and revitalize the local economy.
