The NBC33’s Losing It in Louisiana contestants hit the gym this week to get used to their new workout routines. They kicked off their workouts with a bang. They took turns doing pushups, bicycles, and weights.

Miya Edwards, with the green team, explained, "We are already like a little bitty family and everything, We are going to be like siblings we are going to bicker but we are going to support each other. "

There will be times when things get tough.

"Hardest part about the competition,” Wendy Noble, with the pink team, described.”…Getting used to the camera. "

Nicholas Yiannopoulas, with the blue team, said "The will power to do it, but once I get through the first week or two I'll be fine after that. "

Some contestants had a instant bond with their trainers.

"I think she's awesome like she has pink shoes. I have yellow shoes. I mean we are going to be like this neon dream team," Edwards stated.

"First of all don't tell my fiancé he's really really handsome, so I'll probably want to work really really hard for that," Michelle Lewis, with the purple team, described her first meeting with her trainer.

Others were a little scared of the trainers at first.

Jermarr Williams, with the yellow team, said “Wow, because he's called the sergeant, and he listed his goals for me.”

The trainers can help us in the gym, but when we it comes to dieting, we're in charge.

"[I try to convince myself] Even if you eat chicken and fish every day it's tasty," Kris Cusanza with the red team, said.

Still, giving up contestant’s favorite foods will be rough.

"I would say pizza,” Edwards said. “I love pizza a lot,"

Michelle Lewis, explained, "You name it I eat it. Coke-a-cola I drink like four or five of them a day.

However, season four contestants are ready to do what it takes to lose the weight.

"Go hard or go home," Williams said.

"I'm down for a mud pit if we have to go through army style," Edwards said.

"This year's group is on fire. They want to be here. They are ready to go. They are a little scary because they are so excited. I know that it's not going to be a walk in the park," Cusanza said.
