'NBC33 Losing it in Louisiana': season 4 episode 1

We walked in to bally total fitness weighing a total of 1,633 pounds, but with the help of our new personal trainers that's about to change.

Jermarr Williams paired up with Lenny Augillard to form the yellow team. Jermarr weighed 362 pounds. He's got a family history of weight related health issues. He's ready to change his routine.

"I believe doing this will get me better physically spiritually mentally every which way everything of my life," Jermarr said.

Up next the green team. Miya Edwards and Randi Marshall. At 314 pounds, Miya is ready to rock a fitter body, and feel better playing sports.

"Also just to go shopping and actually buy the clothes I want to wear and have them hang off of me the way I want them to hang off of me," Miya said.

Then there is the blue team, Nicholas Yiannopoulas and Justin Kirk. Nicholas is looking to leave his current weight of 281 pounds in the past.

"Said I'm not happy with the way I look right now or feel about my weight," Nicholas explained. "My self esteem is low. "

Wendy Noble and Joey Juneau make up the pink team. At, 278 pounds, the mom of two, who's already well on her way, wants help in shedding those mom jeans.

"Well actually I've lost 85 pounds in the last year, and I had a weight loss surgery, the gastric sleeve. I'm at a standstill now so I wanted something to push me harder to give me a little more motivation," Wendy described.

Kris Cusanza came in at 205 pounds. She and Lake Johnson this season's red team. Kris has fought a constant battle to keep fit.

"I'm young I'm only 24 and I want to feel like I'm 24. I don't want to feel like a 24-year-old with a 50- year-old's body," Kris said.

Our smallest contestant is Michelle Lewis. At 193 pounds, she's paired up with Jae King for the purple team.

"Well first and foremost I'm getting married. I want to look good in my wedding dress," Michelle explained.

The group will compete for the next six months to find out who will win NBC33's Losing it in Louisiana.
