Losing it in LA

Whether I'm producing a show at NBC33 News or pushing it in the gym losing weight is my new full time hobby.

I spend three days a week training at Bally Total Fitness with my trainer Carlos Rachel. The rest of the week I do cardio or play tennis.

Carlos Rachel's main job is to make sure I can fit in my wedding dress come next December.

"She's not going to give up no matter what," said Carlos Rachel. "She does not give up matter how hard you push her. She never gives up."

Even my fiance Adam Rutka is starting to see a difference

"You can tell there's a change in her demeanor on the days she's worked out," said Rutka. "She feels more accomplished. "

After almost two months in the program, I have found my favorite exercise: boxing.

So far, I've lost 20 pounds, but i'm not stopping yet. My goal is to get down to around 150 pounds. That's a weight loss goal of almost 90 pounds.

The hardest part for me outside the gym is the diet. Working at night makes it harder to eat on a normal schedule. So, I had to quit cold turkey and stop eating my favorite food: pizza.

"She'd always bug me to get pizza when ever we could decide what to get for dinner," said Rutka.

My challenge for this month stop turning out my feet. After years of dancing, it's just become a habit. But, Carlos says it's got to go.

"I can help with the feet then her knees won't bother her," said Rachel. "Her hips wont bother her. Her back wont bother her, and she'll have much better posture in general."

When i feel like giving in, my biggest cheerleaders Adam and Carlos are always there to help pick me up.
