This week we tried Zumba. It was not at all what I thought it was going to be like. I really enjoyed it! We danced, laughed, and had a great time. I definitely see more Zumba in my future.

James Henry with the green team writes:

I know it's hard to keep to a diet and exercise program when you're out of town. I have been out of town for eight days in a two week period and had to find ways to stick with my new healthy lifestyle. It turns out that it was easier than I thought, particularly this last three day trip to Baltimore, MD. The hotel had an excellent workout facility, which combined with what I have learned from Erik allowed me to keep up with my regimen. Additionally, my amazing wife found a boot camp that we were able to attend Sunday morning by the Inner Harbor. Just goes to show that with a little planning and legwork, you can maintain a healthy lifestyle anywhere, even when you're out of your normal routine. Also, we had a Zumba class Thursday night. It was a blast! Please don't judge me after you see the footage.

Anita Katzman with the yellow team writes:

Getting back into the swing after being sick. Started my cardio back up and it kicked my butt. My plan is to make sure I go to the gym everyday, so I can get back to where I was. Justin is still helping me and giving advice, so when I was disappointed I didn't lose 20 pounds from being ill, he reminded me that my body will hold onto water and other fluids when we get sick. Of course that makes sense, but it would have been nice to see a big drop in the scale! Oh well, I enjoy the workouts now and it's also great "me" time I look forward to.

James Newman with the orange team writes:

I have to say that Zumba was really fun. It is hard to keep up with the instructor when you don't know how to dance. I would really like to continue with more Zumba classes, it is a excellent cardio exercise.

Kris Cusanza with the red team writes:

This week I tried something different. I ran outside. It was very therapeutic. I got a chance to zone out and just work off my frustrations it was great. I have also been working on cutting more carbs from my diet at night. There are only so many combinations of chicken and vegetables one can eat.
