BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Rebekah Worrell with the pink team writes:
This week was a good week. It has been a little tough not having my trainer though. The hardest part is motivating myself. But I am getting better at making myself go workout. I am noticing that I have gotten used to eating healthier. Before I eat something I am reading the labels and paying attention to what I'm eating.

"You have a choice. You can throw in the towel, or you can use it to wipe the sweat off of your face." I don't know who made this quote, but it really fit for me just the other day. Friday evening, we had a competition for the remaining three of us. I would be very close to the others, but just couldn't make the win. At the end, I came real close to the feeling of throwing in the towel; but then I realized that I have come way to far and would disappoint myself and everyone else that has been a great support to me. From here on, I am holding on to the towel so I can wipe the sweat off of my face.
James Henry with the green team writes:
For every woman who complains about the unrealistic body image demands for women presented by the media, I have two words: Magic Mike! That movie has brought in about $73 million in two weeks! While I have seen huge changes in my physique over the past 4 months in Losing it in Louisiana, I am not sure that I will ever have a body like the guys in that movie. Guys definitely feel the pressure from the images in media too. Losing it in Louisiana has taught me that it is not about whether or not I have a six pack or what the number on the scale is, but to focus on my overall health. I hope that everyone struggling with weight issues and comparing themselves to models/actors/actresses can realize that it's not about how you measure up against anyone else... it is about being the healthiest and best you that you can be! That being said, Channing Tatum better watch his back!
Kris Cusanza with the red team writes:
The trainer’s workout test Friday was crazy. I have never felt so tired. I’m competing against two strong gentlemen. They are both very fit now and getting more in shape everyday. I’m proud to be the representing the ladies in this competition. There were several times I could have given up during the fight, but I never quit. I have to remember that if I give my best it’s all I can do. There is no room to leave any energy in my body. I have to just give 200 percent every event otherwise, I will be failing the ladies and my trainer.
Anita Katzman with the yellow team writes:
We got to watch the final 3 compete against each other and they did awesome. Rowing, planks and burpees. I was tired just watching them! Everyone has come a long way, I can't imagine doing this challenge when we first started. Next up, we're training for the Losing it in Louisiana Olympics!
