James Henry with the green team writes:

As Sunday was Father's Day, it really hit home to me again why I signed up for Losing it in Louisiana. Two years ago, I lost my dad. Seeing him suffer with the health issues that he did before he passed away made me realize that I need to develop healthy habits now. Though my dad is no longer here with us, I know how proud he would be of what I've been able to accomplish over the past few months. Happy Father's Day, Dad. I love you.

James Newman with the orange team writes:

A big thank you to everyone that cast their vote to help me obtain immunity and make it into the final three. I really wish that there weren't any eliminations at all. I believe that Carol, Anita, and Rebekah all have the drive and the will to continue on and reach the goal that they are looking for. I wish good luck to Kris and James H. as the three of us compete over the next three months for the big prize. James Newman, Orange Team.

Rebekah Worrell with the pink team writes:

This week we all went to a stretch class and I have to say that it was very relaxing. There was soothing music playing and it was nice to just unwind. After the stretch class a few of us stayed for the pump class and that was awesome! Very fast paced, challenging, and a great workout. It was great to go from a relaxing class to a fast-paced workout. It was definitely a great day.

Anita Katzman with yellow team writes:

After 3 months, I started losing some of my drive and motivation. I talked to Justin about it, and he asked me what my motivation is for doing this program as well as adopting a new lifestyle. I told him it's that I became a parent later in life and want to be around for as long as I can. Also, my mother is diabetic. There's no cure for diabetes, so the best preventative medicine you can take for diabetes is regular exercise and eating healthy. After the Saturday Pump class at Bally's, I was still sore 2 days later, but I re-focused on what is important and went running in my neighborhood. Do the things today that your brain is telling you to put off until tomorrow.

Carole Walker with the blue team writes:

My new challenge is adding new healthy foods to my diet. One of the hardest thing about trying to eat healthy is finding a way to add variety to my good choices. Between purchasing a few cookbooks & searching online I've found a few healthy yet tasty recipes that I'm going to try. Other than that I'm looking forward to seeing my primary care physician next Monday so she can see my progress because I know she's going to be proud.

Kris Cusanza with the red team writes:

Last week was super stressful, and I had to hide from the fridge. Anytime I wanted to go grab piece of fattening food I would go walk into the other room. I also had to change up my workout time. I went to the gym at 5 am. The gym was very peaceful, because no one was there.
