My first chocolate holiday came since we started, and I'm excited to say I didn't overdo it. My weaknesses are ice cream and chocolate, but it doesn't have to be torture to survive the holidays. Thursday, Erik had me do a program on the treadmill followed immediately by a program on the StairMaster! Spending most of my evenings at the gym is now a habit and therefore has gotten a lot easier; however, the workouts themselves have gotten exponentially harder. Erik continually develops new and creative ways to punish me. I mean push me to my limits, which is the point of this whole thing!

I was little disappointed at the weigh in last Friday, but I got over it because I've lost inches. I can see the difference in my body when standing in front of the mirror and even had to buy new pants. This has not been an easy journey and I had my first breakdown last week because my body was just tired, but my trainer pushed me to get through the workout and reminded me that as long as I don't quit then that's all that matters. The good outweighs the bad because I'm feeling better, I am able to make it through all of my workouts and my health continues to improve.

Having the story actually be about me was quite weird. I definitely didn’t realize I made funny faces while I workout. If I’m not making a wierd up face I’m awkwardly smiling. It was difficult for me this week, because I got used to the pounds just flying off. But this week so far I haven’t lost any more. It gets super frustrating. I just have to keep the faith that I can lose the weight and not worry about the what the scale says.
