A Baton Rouge pharmacist is getting ready for the longest ride of his life... on his skateboard!

Bryan Prince is hopping on four wheels Saturday, March 29th, and with a small group of other skateboarders he'll journey down to Audobon Park in New Orleans. For every mile the crew logs, sponsors are donating money to the Leukemia Society.

"It came about as a way of 'let's just see if we can do it' and it sort of evolved from there" says Prince.

The journey starts Saturday from the Belle of Baton Rouge Casino. The longboarders will ride down the levee, hit River Road, and will eventually end up at the zoo in New Orleans. It's about 110 miles and will take them about 13 hours (the crew has four rest stops planned.)
