A teacher is taken into custody by the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office after deputies say he was taking improper pictures of young girls in their bathing suits.

41-year-old Duane Champagne was arrested after he was seen taking improper pictures of young girls at the Blue Bayou/Dixie Landin' Water Park. Authorities say they also found more than 13-thousand pictures of the same nature on Champagne's computer. Authorities credit the Blue Bayou security staff for addressing the problem and holding the man until deputies could pick him up.

"Because there's so many young people in our park, because it's a family oriented park, they're there completely. They're looking out for things, and if a complaint comes up, or even if they see something out of the ordinary, they're going to address it," Benny DiChiara, spokesperson, Blue Bayou/Dixie Landin'.

Champagne has been charged with video voyeurism, but the case remains under investigation.
