Jindal for VP?

By News NBC33tv

They call him everything from slick to pubescent! Hot off the presses - a new magazine article on Bobby Jindal, and they're talking Vice President. He's poltical leader turned media darling, and wait until you see what they're saying about him tonight in "Details" magazine. Let's get straight to NBC 33's David D'Aquin.

They aren't just talking about Vice President. They are even taking about the possibility of an Obama-Jindal presidential battle in 2012! The governor has landed a six-page write up in "Details" magazine. The writer talks about his "slick, telegenic image"

"I don't want him to pull a Saban," explains Roger Fritchie. And though Jindal says he has the job he wants, he's never flat out said he won't run for vice-president. Fritchie says, "He should finish the job we've elected him to do before he runs for vice president. "

The write-up says  Jindal's appearance "skews toward pubescent." Some Baton Rouge voters agree. Rivers Smart says, "First of all, he's too young. Second of all, he has proven to be indecisive. He has not shown leadership." Some voters say Jindal wasted too much time deciding what to do about the lawmaker's pay raises.

The article talks about Jindal's "rocket-ship rise through Louisiana politics" and his "high-calliber smarts and higher-calliber ambition." Some folks say Jindal should jump at the shot to become the next VP. Jernane Allen explans, "That'll be a good idea because I think he's really done a lot for Baton Rouge and I think he'd be a good candidate." Angela Hall agrees. Hall says, "I would vote for Bobby over a lot of other people."

Jindal hasn't flat-out said he won't run, and today, when questioned about it in Lake Charles, Jindal says appearing in a national publication is flattering and great for Louisiana. A new survey says Jindal's number six on McCain's VP list.
