TRAFFIC-No traffic incidents to tell you about this morning. Buckle up and drive safely as you head out on the roads this morning.

WEATHER- Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 87. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

LOCAL NEWS- One person was killed in a shooting at South 17th and Government just after 9 last night. BRPD Homicide Detectives are investigating and if you have any information that can help them please call Crimestoppers at 344-STOP. Two guards have been placed on paid leave, and it's possible more could join them, as fallout continues after those two teens escaped from Jetson last week. An arrest has been made in the Fourth of July shooting that tied up traffic for hours on the Mississippi River Bridge.
