TRAFFIC-No traffic incidents to tell you about this morning. Buckle up and drive safely as you head out on the roads this morning.

WEATHER-Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 91. Calm wind becoming west between 5 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

LOCAL NEWS-With the end of the 2012 Legislative Session ending yesterday, all that's left is to get the Governor's signature on the hundreds of Bills voted on over the Session. Just hours before the Session ended, the House passed a Bill to help fund public schools. Brett Gerald has been arrested again after a sixth person has died from injuries received in the fatal crash near Slaughter last week. The new State Director of Mothers Against Drunk Driving says it's cases like this that are the reason for strict DUI Laws. The race for East Baton Rouge Mayor President is up to five with the addition of John Conroy, a business owner and self described fiscal conservative who says fighting crime is at the top of his agenda.
