LOCAL NEWS-Closing arguments in Lil' Boosie's First Degree Murder trial are set to begin this morning. Testimony wrapped up yesterday as the defense called no witnesses. Hundreds of Exxon Mobil employees are 'fighting' to get Exxon to agree to safety improvements at the refinery in Baton Rouge. Lawmakers at the State Capitol were not making progress concerning the state budget for the next fiscal year, which starts in July. The Black Alliance for Educational Options is asking the Zachary School District to rethink their decision to opt out of Governor Jindal's School Voucher Program.

NATIONAL NEWS-A nearly two week long search for suspected kidnapper and murderer Adam Mayes is over. Mayes is dead and the girls he held captive are safe with authorities.
