NBC33 Morning Edition airs from 5:00 to 7:00 a.m. weekdays. Here are the top stories you need to know before walking out the door this morning.

TRAFFIC- Nothing major to tell you about on the roads this morning. Just buckle up and drive safely.

WEATHER- A somewhat chilly morning will lead into a beautiful day today. It's 46 degrees out there this morning so you may want to grab a light jacket or sweater as you head out the door. However, you will not need it later today as it will be warming up to a high of 72.

LOCAL NEWS- There's an early morning shooting to tell you about today. Around 1 a.m. BRPD responded to the 1700 block of Columbus Dunn where they found a black male shot in his vehicle. He was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries. Also, police are looking for 22 year-old Walter Jerome Fort for second degree murder and illegal use of a weapon. Fort is accused of shooting and killing 24 year-old Silas Gibbs on South I-110 near the Chippewa Exit early Saturday morning.
