Volunteers wanted for rebuilding low-income homes

The Baton Rouge Police Department and the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office are in partnership with Rebuilding Together - Baton Rouge to improve homes of low-income residents in our city.

Rebuilding Together - Baton Rouge is a non-profit organization that assist individuals with much needed renovations that vary from basic to complex.

Work will begin on the morning of Friday, April 27 on three homes that were picked by the organization; 3975 Iroquois St and two homes in the 1300 block of West Roosevelt.

Materials and funds were donated by corporate and local businesses.
