BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — The Baton Rouge Police Department is working to clear an accident that happened around 11:40 p.m. near the I-10/12 split in the east bound lane.

The accident involved three vehicles. One vehicle is over turned.

EMS is also responding to the scene.

DOTD reports that traffic is backing up all the way to the Mississippi River Bridge.
