UPDATE: Bomb threat at BTR Airport prompts evacuation

UPDATE: The Baton Rouge Sheriff's office has given the all clear for business to return as normal at the Baton Rouge Airport. Several agencies worked together to confirm there was no threat at the terminal after a bomb threat was called in around 4:30 this afternoon.

Authorities say the building was evacuated within ten minutes of the call coming in. No bomb was located and the all clear was given three hours after the call came in.

Airport officials have told NBC33 News a bomb threat was called in just a few minutes ago. The terminal is being evacuated.

We've learned several flights this evening are being impacted.

Airport police and Baton Rouge Police are on scene right now.
