Truck of missing BR man found abandoned in Mississippi

The Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about a Baton Rouge man who went missing a little over a week ago. The man never reported to work and his vehicle was found abandoned in Mississippi.

Robert “Keith” Perkins, 60, was last seen at Towne Center by a co-worker on Saturday, June 30 at approximately 10:19 p.m. where he was supposed to report for work, but did not.

Perkins’ red 1996 Chevrolet pickup truck (LA license plate W0900146) was located by Mississippi Highway Patrol abandoned in the roadway on Silver Drive south of Highway 48 in Pike County Mississippi.

Robert Perkins often goes by Keith Perkins and is described as being a white male, 5’06”-5’08” 165lbs., with blue eyes and gray hair. Perkins suffers from mental and medical conditions, and it is unknown if he is taking his medication.
