Troopers seeking identity of unconscious car crash passenger

A LSU Health Shreveport needs help identifying a man recovering at the hospital after a car crash.

Monday, Feb. 27, in the evening, Louisiana State Police responded to a crash on LA-15 near mile post 158. Dennis Lowery Jr., 29, of Downsville was pronounced dead at the scene. He was driving a 1998 Jeep in the southbound lane.

The driver of the northbound vehicle received minor injuries.

The passenger in the Jeep Lowery was driving was taken to LSU Health Shreveport and is now unconscious and in serious condition.

Hospital staff have not been able to identify him. The patient is a black man, approximately 21-years-old and six-feet tall. He does not have any visible tattoos.

State Troopers say his name could be Mike and he is possible from Monroe.
