Tis the season for Christmas tree recycling

BATON ROUGE,LA (NBC33) — Now that Christmas is over, it's time to recycle those Christmas trees. Between now and January 6th there are places throughout East Baton Rouge Parish where you can do just that. Not only does it free up some space at your home, it also makes your home a lot safer place,"It's amazing how quickly those things can go up. Just a small spark of any type can ignite 'em. Once ignited they go up in flames almost immediately, so they're quite dangerous," says Baton Rouge Fire Department spoeksperson Barry Mounce.
