Parents and seniors at Zachary High School came out Saturday to test drive cars and help raise big bucks for the school.

It was all part of the Ford 'Drive 4 Ur School' program sponsored by Superior Ford.
For every test drive the school earned money. The goal get 300 test drives to raise $6,000.

The money helps fund things like the arts programs.

" It bridges the gap between the funding from state and what the school is losing," Patrick Campbell, owner of Superior Ford, said.

"With state budget cuts this really allows us to keep some things going that we may not be able to do," Wes Watts, principal of Zachary High School, said.

Campbell said this was the fourth year for the event. He said so far they've raised more than $20,000 for the school.
