NEW ORLEANS, LA (NBC33) — Tomorrow marks the two year anniversary of the Crisis on the Coast. Tonight, research into that disaster is showing a large number of fish near the site of the explosion are sick.
It’s not a threat to humans but it could mean fish like the red snapper and the grouper could be very limited in the future.
On April 20, 2010, the blowout preventer on the Deepwater Horizon failed.
The explosion killed 11 workers and started the biggest oil disaster in U.S. history.
