Hurricane Isaac left his mark on quite a few Louisiana communities, not the least of which is Slidell.

Residents had to be evacuated yesterday as floodwaters reached their waist. Officials were forced to declare a flash flood emergency.

For some, the thought of having to rebuild, is just too much.

Levees have so far shielded New Orleans from the worst of Isaac, but many of the town’s neighbors say they've been forgotten. Some are even saying the new levee system could be directing floodwaters into their towns.
