Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — The East Baton Rouge Parish sheriff has almost $4 million in crime fighting money for the parish.
That's the result of months of back and forth between the mayor and sheriff's office.
Holden and Sheriff Sid Gautreaux have been fighting over what to do with money from the Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness.
Today, GOHSEP decided to give the spending power to the sheriff, saying the mayor's office failed to follow the rules.
