Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Youngsters in the Capitol City experienced Christmas early this year with a visit from Santa at the old governor's mansion.

Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus asked children at the mansion what they wanted for Christmas.

Kids even got to decorate Christmas cards for the troops, as well as having their faces panted.

The Foundation of Historical Louisiana sponsors this open house every year, and they say it just gets more and more popular.
