West Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Despite budget woes, there's some good news for drivers in West Baton Rouge Parish.

The state has agreed to borrow around $100 million to improve rural roads across the state.

The funds mean that almost a seven-mile stretch of LA-413 will be improved.

The state's money problems are holding back officials from improving the entire list or rural roads they want to improve.
